This incredible fitness experience combines running and functional workout stations in a dynamic format. You’ll run 1km, tackle a functional workout station, and repeat this thrilling cycle eight times!

Each race is hosted indoors in spacious exhibition halls, creating an electrifying atmosphere where your fans can cheer you on every step of the way. With a consistent format worldwide, HYROX boasts global leaderboards and a fantastic World Championship at the end of each season. Perfect for professional athletes and fitness lovers alike, our HYROX classes at CrossFit Tooting are designed for everyone ready to take their training to the next level, sign up for a race or challenge themselves with a fun, power endurance way to train!

Our 45-60 minute HYROX classes challenge you,no matter your level! Perfect for those looking to sweat, burn calories, and push their limits. 

Classes focus on power, endurance, and pacing your fitness under heavy fatigue so we can push you to get ready for race day or test your mind and body!

Strategy is vital, and our HYROX coaches will guide you through each workout, week after week, building a bulletproof mindset around pushing yourself, no matter your level. This full-body workout tests you mentally and physically, leaving you feeling invigorated and accomplished! Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned vet, these classes are the perfect way to improve your fitness, have fun in a group and challenge yourself to bring your fitness and strength training together!

SIMULATIONS at 

CrossFit Tooting!

We create the opportunity to simulate your race here at CrossFit Tooting!

Every 8-10 weeks, we invite all members to try a simulation of a HYROX race in different ways to test their fitness!

Unlike classes, these simulations are run in heats, so we get you to feel the race experience and have fun with your best friend at the gym! Done in pairs, relay or solo. Simulations last around 45-60 minutes. 

These are announced at the start of new training cycles, so get them in your diary early! They are done on the weekends to maximise your recovery and post-workout catch-ups!

What membership includes HYROX?

All memberships here at CrossFit Tooting all you to book into our HYROX classes. 

This means no matter your fitness goal or your schedule, you can user this type of training to get fitter and stronger!

These classes see a HUGE mix of abilities and be tailored to anyone's fitness level. We even give advice on the best supplement days or programs to use to get stronger to get better at HYROX!

COMPETITIONS +

DIVISIONS

Hyrox Races take place all over the world, almost every other weekend! You can find your next race here. 

There are 4 divisions to race in.

Open – take on the standard HYROX for a challenging but achievable race for everyone.

Pro – for the experienced racer, heavier weights make for a more challenging experience.

Doubles – find a partner and take on the challenge as a pair, running together but splitting the workload of the exercises.

Relay – come together with your friends or family and race the relay where each team member does 2 times x 1 km and 2 workouts.

Im a beginner to fitness- is HYROX too hard for me?

HYROX is a great fitness test and way of training, for all levels no matter your experience! It really is the fitness race for everyone and our classes are designed for you to build your strength and fitness from scratch.
 
With a mixture of functional exercises and cardio, you can see you progress within a couple of classes and by using a strategy given to you, for YOU, by our coaches- you will thrive! 
 
The races themselves are a tough, no question, but everything is achievable when we consistency work towards a goal to do it! 

Do I have to be registered for a race to do classes?

Not at all! Our classes for HYROX are a great addition to the classes you already do as a ‘fitness bias class."
This way, you can make your fitness training fun and progressive without having to hit the streets solo for the endorphin hit!
We have so many clients that can’t make the the races for various reasons but love the idea of training for the simulations and testing their fitness each week as the programs follow a progress or cycle of

Training. 

How do I get stronger for HYROX?

Getting stronger doesn’t mean doing more; it’s about being savvy about what YOU need to improve on! Everyone has different strength and weakenesse coming into HYROX as a race, based on their previous exercise history.
 
So, it's key to look at where you need to prioritise your training! Our ADONIS/ ATLAS AND OVERALL CROSSFIT classes, which emphasise strength and power, will be the perfect supplement to getting stronger and making the course more manageable! 
 
Running also doesn’t need to be done more than 2-3 times a week. Remember, you're looking to maximise your training and recovery time! The best thing to do is chat with our coaches about what you need to do. A program only works if we tailor it to you!
