Our Program Is Delivered In 2 Levels, In 2 Class Formats, Each Focusing On Creating Balance, Stability, And Strength So You Can Be The Best Version Of Yourself.

Do I Need To Be Fit Or Have Done Crossfit Before I Join?

No! Honestly, We Prefer Newbies Or Those Who Love Feeling Strong And Challenged.

Our Program Is Unique Because It Can Be Tailored For Even The Most Athletic Mum While They Train Next To Someone Who Has Never Used A Gym.

What To Expect From Your Class At Makemomstrong

You Drop Your Kids Off With Marina In Our Creche And Freedom! Just Kidding…

This Is Best Done in 5-10 Min With Instructions For The Creche Staff, E.g., Due A Nap, Bad Night, So Good Luck Etc.

 

All Our Classes Follow The Same Format:

  • They Are 60 Minutes Long

  •  Start Informally With A Laugh And Chat

  • Address What's In The Program For The Day And How To Tackle It.

  • We Pair You Up With A Fellow Mum/Member

  • Work Through The Program According To Your Level

Warm-Up Focuses On Prepping The Body For The Session, Core, And Activation By The Day's Program. For Eg Glutes And Obliques. This Is Our Bread And Butter.

Skill/ Strength Portion, E.G., Single Leg, And Pulling Movements. It Can Be Barbells, Kettlebells, Gymnastics Balls, And Boxes. This Is Where We Make You Strong And Do Seemingly Impossible Things.

Metcon/ Wod To Finish. E.G., Rounds For Time Or An Amrap. This Can Be Anything Between 5-20min Long, Depending On The Day. This Is Where We Get Out Of Breath.

 

Lastly...

High 5's And Yeehahs Are Encouraged, And Then It's Time To Pick Up Your Little Ones.

Chill Upstairs, Feed, Natter, Or Even Grab A Drink And Enjoy The Incredible Mum's Community.

Or Rush Off To The Next Class, Nap Time, Or Pick Up/ Drop Off.

We Have A Mezzanine Area At Crossfit Tooting That Is The Perfect Haven For You To Drop Your Little One Off.

Kitted Out With Toys, Bouncers, Chairs, And A Large Area To Crawl And Play, Our Creche Staff Are On Hand To Keep Them Entertained And Safe.

You’re In The Same Building And Have Peace Of Mind That Not Only Are Your Little Ones In Great Hands, But It’s A Significant Step Towards Preparing Them For Nursery.

Also, I’d Like To Say That Mums Love Our Program More Than The Free Childcare, But Who Would Believe Me?

We Have Little Ones As Early As  6 Weeks Old Up Until They Enter School.

Our Makemomstrong Program Has A Post-Natal Rehab Class Designed For Mums Of All Levels.

No Two Mums Are The Same, Like Their Delivery Or Journey Back Into Fitness.

These Classes Are The Starting Point For Most Mums That Join Us.

Enrollment Can Be As Early As Six Weeks Post Birth, And We Work Closely On Those First Months That Mums Venture Back Into Their Fitness.

As A Referral Pt For Women's Health Physios, I Designed Our Classes To Help Mums With The Most Sensitive Birth Stories And Exercise Journeys.
